(“CoreAVI”) announced today the availability of a new hardware Video Conversion Module to enable low latency video processing and graphics merging for mission critical applications. 18 Sep: US Army and Core Avionics & Industrial Inc. Announce Collaboration on Crew Mission Station (CMS) aligned to the FACE™ Technical Standard for the UH-60 Blackhawk Program

US Army and Core Avionics & Industrial Inc. (“CoreAVI”) announced today that their successful collaboration on the Crew Mission Station (CMS), technology demonstration program for UH-60 Blackhawk aircraft, has resulted in CMS being selected for a Limited User Evaluation (LUE). The prototype CMS is running CoreAVI’s ArgusCore™ OpenGL® SC 1.0.1 graphics library suite and EGL_EXT_Compositor on Intel® i7 hardware with embedded HD5000 graphics displayed on Avalex’s 6” x 8” smart display.  Fully integrated with Presagis’s ARINC 661 server, the CMS could be the first system evaluated by warfighters using the EGL_EXT_Compositor extension, taking advantage of its flexible graphics windowing capabilities within their multiple guest OS architecture.

Designed from the ground-up for safety critical and high performance, VkCore SC enables applications to harness a modern GPU’s graphics and compute capabilities, all in one driver. VkCore SC is certifiable to RTCA DO-178C/EUROCAE ED-12C up to Design Assurance Level (DAL) A as well as ISO 26262 ASIL D. Legacy graphics applications are also supported through OpenGL® SC 1.0.1 and Open GL SC 2 libraries running on top of VkCore SC. 20 Apr: New Graphics System Uses Single Core for High Performance Video Processing 

At Aviation Electronics Europe (AEE) this month, Aitech Defense Systems Inc. and CoreAVI will be exhibiting a demo of a high performance graphics system that captures images with an extremely low latency of two frames. All video throughput runs under VxWorks on a single core of a 12-core T4240 processor, keeping the remaining 11 cores free for other processing tasks. 

20 Apr: CES adopts CoreAVI’s TrueCore software GPU monitor 

Creative Electronic Systems (CES) announces the adoption of CoreAVI’s TrueCore technology, in the scope of its strategic partnership with CoreAVI.
